I'm currently private pay only for new clients. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that can help cover part of the cost — if yours does, I'll provide a Superbill after each session that you can submit for reimbursement. Not sure if you have out-of-network benefits? I'm happy to help you figure out what to ask your insurance company.

1

Do you accept insurance?

My fee is $250 per session. Given my training in trauma-informed care and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, I bring specialized clinical expertise to our work together. I hold a limited number of sliding-scale spots for clients experiencing financial hardship — feel free to ask if that's something you need.

2

What's your fee?

I currently provide remote (telehealth) in the states of New York + Pennsylvania. Monday-Friday 10AM-3PM (except for major holidays).

3

What are your hours of operation?

Typically 50 minutes, though length can vary based on your needs.

4

How long are therapy sessions?

Most clients meet weekly, though twice a week or every other week are also options.

5

How often do we meet?

That's what the consultation is for. We'll spend about 15 minutes getting to know each other and see if it feels right — and if I'm not the best fit, I'll help point you in the right direction.

6

What if I don't know if we're a good fit?

That's completely okay! Many of my clients are starting therapy for the first time. You don't need to know how therapy "works," say the right thing, or have everything figured out before you arrive. My job is to help guide the conversation—not to expect you to know exactly what to do. We'll simply start where you are.

7

What if I've never been to therapy?

You don't need a diagnosis. You don't need the perfect explanation. You don't even need to know what kind of therapy you're looking for. If you know something doesn't feel quite right—or that life feels harder than it needs to—we have somewhere to begin.

8

What if I don’t know what I need?

Not at all. Some people come in with a list on their phone. Others sit down and say, "Honestly...I have no idea where to start." Both are completely okay. Sometimes the most important things reveal themselves once we begin talking. My job isn't to expect you to have all  the answers before therapy starts. It's to help you slow down, get curious, and make sense of what's coming up together.

9

Do I have to know what I want to talk about?

Then you cry. Seriously. Tears are welcome here. Crying doesn't mean you're weak, dramatic, or "doing therapy wrong." Sometimes tears show up because we're talking about something painful. Sometimes they show up because your nervous system finally feels safe enough to let go. Either way, there's no need to apologize.

10

What if I cry?

That's okay too! There isn't a "right" way to do therapy. Some people cry every session. Some never do. Some laugh more than they cry. Some intellectualize everything before the feelings show up. However you process emotions, we'll work with that—not against it. Therapy isn't about performing emotion. It's about understanding yourself.

11

What if I don’t cry?

What if I’m worried you’ll judge me?

12

Honestly, most people worry about this at first. My goal isn't to judge you, it's to understand you — every behavior and coping strategy developed for a reason, and we'll get curious about those reasons together.
